Sales Advisor/Removal Operative (Driver)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Rate of Pay: £11.53 – £12.01/hr (Dependent on experience) + Bonus (subject to meeting branch criteria) + Overtime

Average Hours: 40 hours over 2 weeks (Week 1: 32hrs, Week 2: 48hrs)

Shifts: Rotational shifts every 2 weeks, Start time between 08:00 am – 09:30 am

We are currently hiring for a Sales Advisor/Removal Operative position for one of our esteemed clients based in the west of Edinburgh.

Job Description: We are looking for a versatile individual to join our client’s team as a Sales Advisor/Removal Operative. This role requires a combination of sales advisory duties, removal operations, and driving responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring excellent customer service while handling removal operations efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize internal computer systems for administrative tasks (full training provided).
  • Provide exceptional customer service in face-to-face, phone, and online interactions.
  • Drive, load, and unload vehicles, including a 3.5t Van.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Operate a forklift (full training provided for suitable candidates).
  • Learn and master all aspects of removal operations.

    • Skills Required:

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Valid Cat B (standard) driving license.
  • Basic IT skills and computer literacy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as the role involves physical demands.

    • Note: Applicants with DD, DR, or IN endorsements on their driving license cannot be considered due to commercial insurance stipulations.
