Production Operative

Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, 07:30 16:30

Are you a manual worker with a good head for basic maths? MPLOY are seeking experienced production operatives to work as part of a motivated team that select, process and safely pack products.

This is a manual job where the capability to perform physical tasks is necessary, due to the weight of some of the items, as well as a good understanding of health and safety due to machinery present onsite. The team is lean, and therefore reliability and commitment are essential.
You will be responsible for a variety of important tasks, including:

  • Accurate, efficient and safe processing of works orders using machinery (training provided).
  • Maximize yields from raw materials.
  • Clear and accurate recording of finished product either on to production paperwork or computer system.
  • Stack, band and label each completed order safely and presentably

    • Successful candidates will possess the following qualities:

  • Basic mathematical skills for measuring
  • A practical background / previous history
  • A team ethic approach, knowing that your input is vital to the overall success of the team
  • A stable work history with career choices clearly explained ( The salary on offer is reflective of the standard of applicant the company seek to attract)
  • A forklift licence is not essential but will be looked upon favourably
