Driver Provider UK are looking for a Lead Warehouse Manager to be part of an establish food retailer based in Erith on a 12 week temp to perm.

About the Role:

 Working with the Warehouse Manager and Health and Safety Coordinator, the Lead Trainer will ensure that all training requirements, including inductions, work processes, manual handling & warehouse training are delivered within the required standards and timelines, with training records maintained for all colleagues. You may be required to carry out other tasks to satisfy the needs of the business.

 

You will be responsible for:

Delivering professional training and development whilst supporting the warehouse trainers and team managers in the daily performance of their duties. The role will ensure all warehouse colleagues and managers are trained competently in line with company standards and legal requirements.

 

Job Overview

·        Induction Training: Overseeing the induction process and providing induction training to new colleagues on site.

·        Practical Training: Conduct practical sessions to provide a high standard of technical training to support the warehouse operation including LLOPs, FLTs, Powered Pump Trucks (PPTs), and other MHE being used on site.

·        Health & Safety: Ensure all colleagues and trainers are trained and adhere to onsite and machine health and safety regulations and guidelines.

·        Proactive Approach: Support with the delivery of additional training and refresher training of colleagues as and when required.

·        Support: Provide ongoing support throughout inductions and practical training using the correct assessments and evaluations.

·        Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Senior Managers and trainers to ensure all onsite training requirements are covered across all shifts.

Successful candidate will need:

·        FLT/MHE License

·        Ability to learn quickly, and to work on your own initiative

·        Management skills

  • Computer literate

  • Able to demonstrate leadership qualities

·        Data Entry / Administrative Experience

·        Excellent communication skills

  • Proven track record of being able to achieve performance targets

  • Able to work organized and maintain training records to a high level of accuracy

Pay:

12 weeks will be paid by the agency at £16.15ph . This is equivalent to an annual salary of £33,592.
