The Best Connection are currently seeking a CE Class 1 Driver to fill a position in Dartford. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid CE Class 1 Licence and must have CE Class 1 driving experience.
This position is in a Class 1, pulling curtain sided trailers, performing the collection and delivery of palletised supplies in the south east area. This will mostly be to and from industrial areas. Due to the nature of the work the vast majority will be loaded and unloaded for you on site by forklift. The trailer is pre loaded for you for when your shift starts!
Monday to Friday work. 7.30am start time with a scheduled 4pm finish.
Responsibilities of the CE Class 1 Driver
Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.
Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
