Cat B Multidrop Van Delivery Driver – delivering wine

Job Profile:

  • Title: 3.5 tonne multidrop driver
    Hours: Monday to Saturday – 5 over 6 days
  • 0700-0800 start time, working a 10 and a half hour day
  • Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour PAYE Adv
    Type: Full time permanent driving role
  • Full time salary £30k
    Location: Steventon, Nr Abingdon, Oxfordshire

    • Job Requirements:

  • Category B driving licence
    Multidrop driving experience
  • Manual handling duties
  • Driving and loading duties
  • A strong set of references
    Excellent communication skills, as you will be a lone worker

    • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Following best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading the van
  • Communicating with the distribution office, other drivers and team members to make deliveries & raise issues
  • Meeting delivery deadlines and following instructions
  • Keeping the van clean and tidy
  • Loading and unloading cases of wine
  • Use Electronic Proof of Delivery System to obtain Member signatures
  • Completing the daily vehicle checks via app
  • Reporting any vehicle defects via the app

    • Skills:

  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Good geographical knowledge of delivery area
  • Able to manage own time so deliveries are made on schedule
  • Basic I.T skills to use Email, Vehicle check app, Epod system

    • Our client is looking for a temp to perm multidrop driver to work from their site in Steventon, Oxfordshire, you will be working on your own and communicating each day with the Head Office, your deliveries would arrive on site overnight ready for you to delivery the next day, you will have 1 weeks full training, which will include learning how to use the company’s hand held device
