We are looking for a talented Product Manager able to manage complexity of the ecosystem, navigate through multiple stakeholders, with deep interest in traveler centricity & platform ecosystem capabilities, and enthusiastic about the Amadeus growth strategy of opening up our systems.

Purpose

You will manage one of the core Creation Platform capabilities essential to Amadeus's business transformation: the marketplace, which fosters ecosystem growth by linking suppliers and consumers.

As a Platform Product Manager for our marketplace, you will be responsible for leading the Platform Capability strategy, roadmap, and execution to deliver a world-class user experience.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, to ensure the marketplace meets user & consumers needs and business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, user behavior, coupled with a strong passion for transforming ideas into reality.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the capability vision, strategy, and roadmap.

  • Lead communication with Amadeus Business lines to share on evolution, identify opportunities and collect needs, feedbacks from our consumers.
  • Propose strategic directions to management and convey them to ensure clear alignment (value/budget/prioritization,..)
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (Epic Owners, Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering) to gather, refine and prioritize product requirements, feed the execution backlog and roadmap
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
  • Lead the capability development lifecycle from concept to launch, and til the capability end of life.
  • Monitor capability performance and mesure success using metrics, to drive continuous improvement and maxime capability usage.
  • Ensure the capability’s market readiness, including legal compliancy, SLAs, cost model.
  • Facilitate smooth and efficient deliveries by fostering strong, trustworthy relationships with train leaders, product owners, and architects, maintaining a well-groomed backlog, and ensuring appropriate levels of formalization.
  • About our ideal candidate

  • 5-10 years of Product Management experience is mandatory, with a significant experience of marketplace management.
  • Be at ease with uncertainty, ability to adapt to a new and evolving context and strategy
  • Collaborative mindset, strong communication and analytical skills
  • Driver, results-oriented, energetic
  • Platform mindset: ability to move from standard product management and apply the necessary abstraction to manage platform capabilities, which serve in turn, consumers to build or enrich products.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced technology-driven environment
  • Ability to quickly establish strong relationships and credibility
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience working in agile / SAFe experience is a plus.
