The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a FLT Reach Driver in the Darwen area.

There will be a possible permanent position following a successful trial period for the right candidate .

The working hours are 08:30-17:00 , Monday-Friday , 37.5 hour paid working week, the hourly rate is £13.00.

Key Roles:

  • Pick and pack of orders
  • Checking and putaway for stock deliveries (including pipe lengths with Reach Truck)
  • Assisting with rolling stock counts
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles

    • Skill set:

  • Literate & numerate, with experience of picking & packing operations
  • Ability to lift when required
  • Needs to be a self-starter with the ability to organise own workload/priorities
  • Full and in date- Reach truck license holder with experience of working in aisles (experience of load spreader/multi direction ideal, but not mandatory as conversion training can be provided)
  • IT experience will be an advantage for some of their more advanced operations
