Job Title: Trade Counter/Yard Operative

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Trade Counter/Yard Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid FLT licence and experience in a trade environment, preferably with building materials knowledge. You will be responsible for assisting customers at the trade counter, managing stock, and ensuring the yard operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift to load and unload deliveries safely
• Keeping the yard and store area organised, clean, and compliant with health & safety regulations
• Assisting customers at the trade counter with product selection and queries
• Handling goods in and out, ensuring correct stock levels and accurate records
• Providing excellent customer service and supporting the wider team as required

• Valid FLT licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a trade counter, warehouse, or yard role
• Knowledge of External Building materials (preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
