HCL Waste Management: 

Our team are responsible for working in our Waste Recycling centre. HCL recycling centre is one of the only wet Waste Recycling premises in south-east London capable of treating various wastes in accordance with the environment agency, excepting wet waste and turning it into dry reusable material.

Your role within the Process centre would be to learn and understand the process, full training given, keep the yard clean and tidy and maintain all of the equipment, undergo CSCS training, undergo plant and machinery training as time progresses with experience within the role, 360 excavator training provided with suitable candidates, forklift truck training given with suitable candidate after probationary period and qualifications with inside the in-house training programme. Loading shovel training is provided again to the reliable, forward-thinking candidate who and willing to learn the complexity of the plant after a period of time.

*Please note this role will entail a large amount of manual handling and lifting.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Driving Licence (desirable)
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of pumps and mechanical ( desirable but not a necessity) 
  • Positive work attitude
  • Willing to work shifts, evenings, weekends and overtime as required. Paid accordingly to the time worked and experience.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required.
