Personnel Selection are pleased to be working with this fantastic engineering business, with a Head Office in Salisbury. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Assembler on a permanent and full time basis.

You will work 39 hours per week – 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30 to 4.00pm on Friday (half hour lunch).

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in best engineering practices and it would be useful if this person had a UK driving license and / or a forklift truck license. 

The technician will work as part on the Assembly team, responsible for the assembly of high value engineering products. 

The main duties include: 

  • Assembly of pumps and other large pieces of capital equipment in a low volume, high-value, industrial environment. 
  • Operation within an industrial environment in accordance with the appropriate quality control procedures (QCPs)
  • Preparation of sub-assemblies
  • Workplace organisation and other ad hoc duties as required
