The Best Connection Scotland are currently recruiting for our National Aviation Client who are looking to add 6 class 2 Drivers to their driving team working with their logistics teams to complete deliveries to Edinburgh Airport.

This role is Ongoing work with opportunities for the right candidates to go permanent with the client at their Edinburgh Depot.

Basic duties will include:

  • Delivering goods in a secure & controlled environment
  • Loading materials onto vehicle
  • Loading and unloading catering goods to aircraft
  • Liaison with flight crew
  • Working in collaboration with ground handling team
  • General vehicle checks and upkeep of vehicle.
  • This can be a physically demanding job so candidate must have a good level of fitness.
  • Must complete clients paperwork to a good standard

    • Requirements:

  • Class 2 HGV Driving Licence with 1 years experience
  • Max 3 points with no major endorsements
  • Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tacho Card
  • Documented and referenceable 5 year work history
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Airport Airside Driving experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided

    • Rates of pay and Shifts:

  • Pay = £16.02ph
  • Rota is a 3 on 3 off rota
  • Shifts are 06:00 to 18:00 or 10:00 to 22:00
  • 12 Hour Shifts
