Van Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Newcastle area. We are looking for a dedicated van drivers to join the team on a part time basis.

Hours: Every Monday, 8am starts until approximately 4:30pm (with the opportunity to pick more shifts up during the week).

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

  • Transporting next day parcels to the hub in Warrington.
  • Handballing and heavy lifting of parcels, ensuring safe and secure handling.
  • Scanning parcels accurately to maintain shipment integrity.
  • Loading and unloading parcels with care and attention to detail.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

    • Requirements:

  • A valid UK driver’s license.
  • Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
