HGV Skip lorry driver required

Driver Hire London North is recruiting HGV 2 SKIP LORRY drivers for a 12 week temp to perm contract with a well established and one of Hertfordshire and London’s leading waste disposal and skip hire companies who have been operating over the last 40 years.

Drivers must have and be the following

Good area knowledge of London and surrounding areas
Good customer service skills
Be polite and helpful
Have a good understanding of driver hours
Have a CPC card and Digital tachograph card
Have no more than 6 points on the licence (NO DR, IN10 or Mobile Phone endorsement will be accepted)
Hold a UK CAT C Licence for a minimum of 2 years

The customer requires drivers to work

START 07:00 FINISHING 16:30. (overtime available on Saturday)

Customer is willing to provide training to drivers with minimal skip experience if needed.

Driver responsibilities will be:

Load and unload the vehicle.
Doing collection and deliveries of skips.
Doing a daily vehicle check at the beginning and end of shift.
Keep vehicle tidy.
Follow all instructions and company policies

Drivers will also need to complete and pass an assessment before start date is given.
