Automotive Parts Advisor / Driver needed in the Swindon area.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Parts team of an established and successful commercial garage in Swindon.

Job Role – Parts Advisor / Driver

Job Location – Swindon

Salary – £29,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience

Hours – Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 5.00pm or 8.00am to 6.00pm with ½ an hour unpaid lunch each day. Every third Saturday 8.00am to 12noon

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Parts Assistant/Driver at our Swindon location

As a Parts Assistant/Driver, you will be a key member of our operation and will be involved in the following duties:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to our customer’s
  • Establishing customer needs for required parts through conversation, diagnosis and recommendations as appropriate
  • Locating and ordering parts, fully conversant with procedures within the parts department
  • Delivering and collecting parts as required, receiving, recording and allocating parts and consumables from suppliers
  • Communicating relevant promotions and offers to workshop control and customers, assist with parts stock checks, report any stock damage or losses, retuning of parts to suppliers.
  • Delivery of parts to customers. All parts are controlled by our dealer management system DMS.
  • We request all staff promote the company in a positive way to enhance parts sales and growth opportunities.

    As based in the Parts Department, company uniform will be provided. Experience in similar positions is advantage. Full training will be given on our systems and processes.
