Our client has been in operation for over thirty years and have grown to be one of the UK’s leading specialist producers of their particular product.

Your New Role

Whilst working as a Maintenance Technician you will take responsibility for preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of production across the site.

Your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Ensure all machines within the factory are checked and maintained according to the manufacturer’s rmendations •pletion of all aspects of paperwork which includes daily tasks and service records •pletion of work-on-work pal maintenance package • Engage in the ethos of continuous improvement • Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.

What You'll Need To Succeed

In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:

A minimum of one years experience in a similar role • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace • Working knowledge and understating of Permit to Work • Be self-motivated and highly organised • Excellentmunication skills.

Preference will be given to those with:

Experience of working in an environment with hot and cold-water systems, high pressure Steam systems andpressor Air systems • The ability to interpret technical drawings • Hold a valid forklift licence/a valid MEWP licence • Prior experience of working in the food industry.

What You'll Get In Return

For working a desirable shift pattern of Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:30 you will earn an hourly rate of £18. An element of on call work may also be required on a rota basis.
