Logical Personnel Solutions are acting as an employment business looking for HGV Driver to fill jobs on behalf of our client based in Barnsley.

Our client is the UK’s leading industrial piping distributor, delivering to customers and sites nationwide.

We are looking for HGV Class 1 in addition to C+E tramper driver (s) willing to night out all week who can complete deliveries of goods to sites and customers accros the UK.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a valid CPC, Digi Card and Driving Licence.
  • Must provide all own PPE (Safety boots, Hi Vis Vest, work wear)
  • All drivers must have minimum 12 months experience.
  • All suitable candidates will need to take part in a driving assessment with training prior to start date (Paid).

    • JOB ROLE:

  • Drive a HGV Class 1 Vehicle throughout the shift with long distance trunk runs
  • Majority of deliveries are curtainsider pallet work, very minimal loose goods which need offloading manually.
  • Carry out POD’s and delivery note procedures on the PDA System.

    • WORKING DAYS AND HOURS:

  • Mainly Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday work
  • Start times: 04:00-06:00
  • On average a 12-14.25 hours shift – Maximum hours per week

    • PAY RATES:

    Class 1 Days:

  • Basic Days: £12.50ph
  • Saturday: £15
  • Night out fee: £25
  • (All parking expenses paid providing proof of receipt)

    • Immediate starts.

    Temp to perm positions available after 10 weeks.
