Schedule: Monday to Friday + Weekends Available (Enhanced pay for weekend)

Pay Rate: PAYE ADV (Including Holiday Pay): £14.00 per hour

The Role:

  • Vehicle safety, maintenance and cleanliness
  • Daily route planning and control of delivery documentation
  • Safe loading and unloading of furniture to customer properties and warehouses
  • Maintain effective communication with customers, stores and warehouses
  • Some furniture assembly in customer properties
  • Collection of returns and recycled furniture
  • Plan and drive to predetermined appointments with due care and attention
  • Liaise with customers to confirm delivery times
  • Ensure furniture is unwrapped and checked for any damage prior to leaving the customer’s properties
  • This role will involve heavy lifting.

    • Requirements:

  • Valid C1 Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Valid CPC and Tacho Card
  • Flexible schedule and approach to work
  • Comfortable with handball and heavy lifting
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
