Class 2 Driver

We are recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Drivers to support our client, a well-known removals company based in Bothwell, to work with a team delivering furniture. This position is commutable from most places, due to motorway links.

They’re hoping for a Class 2 Driver to start with them immediately, so if you’re looking for something new, this might be perfect timing for you!

Role details:

  • Monday to Sunday, 5 shifts over 7 days
  • Dayshift, 8am to 4.30pm, guaranteed 40hours per week
  • Temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
  • Duties will be working in a team delivering furniture all over the UK, you will be assisted with 2 to 3 porters

    • To be considered, you’ll be an experienced Class 2 Driver, and have:

  • Valid Category C driving licence
  • Valid CPC & Digi cards
  • Removal experience is essential
  • 6 points or less on your licence
  • Physically fit due to heavy lifting
  • Immediate start availability
  • Own transport would be preferred due to local and early start times
  • Position is open to newly qualified HGV drivers

    • In return:

  • £14 per hour (PAYE)
  • Weekly pay
  • 28 days paid holiday pro-rata on PAYE
  • Regular, on-going work offered leading to permanent for the right candidate
