Homerton Healthcare has a band 6 post to work within the Community Children’s Nursing team which covers the London Borough of Hackney and the City. The Community Children’s Nursing Team offers a 7 day service for, so are you ready to take up this challenge?
The Trust is investing in the team to ensure that those children who can be discharged home early and can receive their care at home can do so 7 days a week. We are looking for a children’s nurse who may have worked within the field of community children’s nursing and wanting to develop their skills further.
The team has both a generic caseload where we have children on the caseload who suffer from life limiting/life threatening conditions to children who require dressing or the completion of their intravenous antibiotics and to those children who have a continuing care package who are on the complex care caseload.
Within Homerton Healthcare, staff are encourage to further their nursing practice through professional development to ensure best practice.
