Job Description: 

Driver Hire Gatwick has a new opportunity for a Class 2 HGV Driver ready to start with one of clients in Crawley who has been over the years a leading company in the Logistics sector. And now as part of their continued growth, they now are seeking a skilled Class 2 Driver to join the team in Crawley .

Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport a variety of goods, including general haulage, to various destinations across the Southeast.

Adhere to driving hours, working time directives, and all road safety regulations to ensure legal compliance.

Uphold the professional image of Driver Hire Gatwick by maintaining a clean vehicle, presenting oneself professionally, and ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.

Working Requirements:

Monday to Friday shifts between the hours of 07:00AM-04:00PM.

The ability of lifting and shifting parcels safely.

Follow all traffic laws and company policies.

Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance.

Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.

Requirements:

Valid Class 2 HGV Licence, Tacho and CPC.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Understanding of the Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.

Punctual, reliable, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
