Transport Compliance Supervisor 1 Year Experience Required - Trafford- Permanent Role

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:00 (1 Hour Lunch)

Silver Arrow require a Compliance Customer Service Supervisor to work for transport company based in the Trafford area.

Your Role:

• Supervise daily transportation operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage a team of drivers and logistics personnel, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
• Coordinate schedules for deliveries and pickups, optimising routes for efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including vehicle maintenance and driver performance.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues related to deliveries.
• Utilise IT systems to track shipments and manage logistics data efficiently.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on safety protocols and customer service best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the transportation department to enhance service quality.

Perm Benefits:

What we need from you:

• Previous experience in transport compliance

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the transportation or logistics sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other relevant IT applications.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions based on operational needs.
• Strong geographical knowledge
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• A valid driving licence is essential.
