HGV Class 2 Driver

We are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to carry out vehicle movements for a well know film and TV production company based in Manchester. The role is to deliver vehicles to filming locations mainly around the North West but also throughout the UK. You will also collect, relocate and repatriate vehicles to their base so no multidrop or manual handling is required. One-way journeys to (or from) locations is fully expensed and professionally organised using public transport and contracted private hire companies. This work is highly sort after!

HGV Class 2 Driver will need:

  • Cat-C Licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 points (No DD’s, DR’s, IN’s, TT’s)
  • Excellent customer service skills and good literacy
  • Full UK Driving licence, held for 1 year
  • Able to work to tight deadlines

    •  HGV Class 2 Driver Duties will include:

  • Delivering “filming critical” equipment responsibly, safely and on-time
  • Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance
  • Maintaining regular contact with Location Managers on ETA progress
  • Completing paperwork accurately as instructed
  • Dealing with Site Managers and location staff face to face in a polite and courteous manner

    • Successful HGV Class 2 Driver will receive attractive weekly pay of £13.50 per hour (£15.15 including holiday pay paid up front). We will review all applications and you will be contacted within 24 hours of your application if you have been shortlisted.
