Class 1 Driver – Part Time / Flexible Hours

Are you an HGV driver looking for a 4 day week, or extra hours on the weekend? We have a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Class 1 driver – or someone who recently gained their HGV licence – to work a more flexible shift pattern, or to boost their earnings.

This position is part-time (Thurs to Sun) driving a C+E fridge truck, working for a leading logistics company specialising in refrigerated transport.

Hours:

  • Thurs, Fri, Saturday, Sunday – 1 day or 4 days or anything in between can be accommodated
  • Days, Nights or Tramping options available
  • Average shift 12 hrs
  • Operates a 24hr rota so starts can be from 02:00 to 23:00 – we can work around you and your availability
  • This role is temporary, part-time and ongoing – could result in permanent for the right candidate

    • Pay and benefits:

  • £16.00 – £19 (PAYE / PAYE Advanced)
  • Weekly pay

    • As a qualified HGV driver, you will have:

  • Full UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) driving licence with current CPC and Digital Tacho card
  • No more than 9 points on licence, and no CD, IN, DD or DR endorsement codes
  • Previous experience of Class 1 driving preferred but not essential
  • Ability to load and unload goods, ensuring secure and safe transport
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • A commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent knowledge of Driving Hours and WTR

    • Our client will take new passes, but may require a training shift with an experienced driver initially.
