The Role

:

As a Marine Mechanic , you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing marine outboard engines.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and troubleshoot faults and issues.
  • Install and outfit outboard engines onto boats.
  • Adjust trailers as necessary.
  • Load and unload boats.
  • Offer individualised customer service.
  • Carry out relevant administrative tasks.

    • Requirements:

    Essential:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
  • Possess 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Possess mechanical experience.

    • Desirable:

  • Marine industry experience.
  • Background in boat and trailer fit out.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Capability for occasional heavy lifting.
