HGV Tanker Driver – Banbury

Abbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following;

HGV TANKER DRIVER

Monday to Friday TRAMPER

• Based at our Banbury depot
• Tanker experience required
• Loading & unloading of liquid tankers
• Tanker training provided
• £14.50 (first 20-weeks employment) raising to £15.50 after
• £26.20 per night out

The role of an Abbey Logistics HGV 1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using bulk liquid tankers throughout the UK

Duties will include:

• Loading & Delivery of liquid tankers to and from UK and European (if required) customer locations
• Complying with all drivers’ hours and working time regulations
• Using a digital hand-held device to record all vehicle checks and delivery information
• Following customer and company guidelines and processes

Experience

• Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
• Tanker experience preferred but not essential as training will be given
• Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card
