We are looking for a Regional Security Officer to join us at our client site in Aberdeen.
You will be working across various Wilson James sites in the Aberdeenshire area.

As a Security Officer you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

    • A typical day in the life of a Regional Security Officer:

  • Maintain a polite, courteous, and friendly manner towards the public, the client, and colleagues.
  • Make patrols and report in by means of radio or other devices.
  • Prevent the admittance to the premises of unauthorised persons.
  • Check desks for insecure items (clear desk policies).
  • Report damage to perimeter fencing or other property or buildings which compromise security.
  • Report faults that may lead to property damage.
  • Remain alert and vigilant to activity on the site to ensure risks are minimised through prompt action, end to end investigation and reporting.
  • Any other reasonable requests made by operational management.

  • DS SIA Licence
  • Experience in a security environment is beneficial but not essential, we are willing to put the time and resource into someone who may be recently licensed to give you the first step you might need.
  • Hard work and excitement for your job, we love to see people enjoying their role 
  • A positive attitude with experience in a customer service role.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Be flexible.
  • Basic IT Skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
  • Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.
