Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, and every third week, Tuesday to Saturday
Monday start: 07:30
Tuesday to Friday start: Between 06:20 and 07:00 (as advised)
Saturday start: 06:30 (finish around 12:30)
Bank holidays worked as normal days
Requirements:
Valid Category B licence
No more than 3 points on your licence
Physically able to perform manual handling tasks
Excellent customer service skills
Good communication skills
Your own transportation is essential for getting to and from work
Working mobile phone
Role Overview:
You will be delivering products to customers within a specific area in a safe and friendly manner, ensuring the care and upkeep of your designated vehicle, and providing excellent customer service standards.
Main Duties:
Prepare the vehicle by conducting operator maintenance and ensuring all products for delivery are correct and loaded safely.
Complete delivery notes, return sheets, and collect payments.
Execute any special requests from customers by picking up and delivering items as directed on the delivery note.
Maintain customer confidence by keeping information strictly confidential regarding premise security and operational information.
Check run sheets and pick orders for your deliveries, planning your route and requirements for the drop.
Inform customers of any stock shortages or problems with their delivery.
Return all empty kegs and gas bottles, ensuring they are correctly stored and unloaded.
Adhere to correct health and safety procedures.
Complete all required checks and ensure that check sheets are passed to the distribution manager.
Assist in the warehouse when required.
Look presentable in the correct uniform at all times.
Knowledge and Experience:
Good safety practices and driving habits
Possess the correct driving licence required for the vehicle
