PAY GBP 14.00 to GBP 17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)


Temporary to Permanent position


Full driving licence, CPC card and Digi card required


Nomore than 6 points on licence



MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES




  • To deliver and collect bailed recycled material around the Somerset, Devon and Wiltshire area

  • To ensure that all processes / collections are carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and the Drivers Handbook.

  • To ensure that all tachograph regulations are adhered with.

  • All Road Traffic Regulations are adhered with.

  • To ensure the vehicle is in good working order, vehicle defects are recorded correctly and subsequent procedures are carried out appropriately. Vehicle cleanliness is upheld daily / weekly.

  • Ensure loads are secured in a safe manner

  • To hold the appropriate driving licence, undergo any required training and maintain a driver’s Certificate of Professional Competence.

  • A FLT Licence would be desirable but not essential

  • Candidates must possess a reasonable level of fitness

  • Any other duties commensurate with a Recycled Waste Operative
