Our client is a specialist in building materials and are currently seeking a Warehouse & Transport Operative for their branch in Witney.

This is a full time temp to perm position, where you will initially join Driver Hire Oxford and be paid on a weekly basis

Working Hours & Salary

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start time 07:00
  • Minimum 8 hour day
  • Working 40 hours a week
  • £13.00 per hour PAYE Adv
  • Full time permanent salary : £25 – 26k depending on experience.

    • What this role will include:

  • Assisting in receiving, storage and counting of stock
  • Picking and loading of stock in the warehouse and yard
  • Schedule the distribution of orders
  • Be a point of contact for drivers
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

    • The successful candidate will require:

    • Confident using PC/WMS systems
    • Experience in transport planning and/or warehouse/stores duties
    • Good communication skills
    • Self-motivation, being able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
    • Attention to detail with processes also be Health & Safety aware
    • Counterbalance Forklift Licence – this would be an advantage
