Are you an HGV driver looking for shorter days, no nights out and normal, sociable hours… ? We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver to work for a national client, who are currently recruiting for 2 full time permanent drivers to join their established team.

This position is fulltime, Mon to Fri, Days. Driving a C+E drop side, carrying timber. Average shift length 10hours per day.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – usually around 07:00 – 17:00
  • Days, No Nights Out
  • Average shift 10 hrs
  • This role is a fulltime, permanent role.

    • Pay and benefits:

  • £14.00 – £15.69 (PAYE / PAYE Advanced)
  • Overtime Paid after 8hrs at £18.49
  • Weekly pay
  • Holiday pay and pension enrolment

    • As a qualified HGV driver, you will have:

  • Full UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) driving licence with current CPC and Digital Tacho card
  • No more than 9 points on licence, and no CD, IN, DD or DR endorsement codes
  • Previous experience of Class 1 driving preferred but not essential
  • Ability to load and unload goods, ensuring secure and safe transport
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • A commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent knowledge of Driving Hours and WTR

    • Previous experience and having held your Class 1 for a minimum of 1 year is preferred, but not essential.
