Driver Essential? Yes, On shift, adapted vehicle
Essential: Experience supporting young people, DBS, ability to travel, and a valid passport. This role is open to *female applicants only.

Days & Hours: 35 waking hours per week, plus weekend and overnight on a rota basis

About this client:
Eve is a phenomenal young woman with a zest for life. Besides studying Eve regularly speaks at conferences and workshops about life with a communication impairment and physical disability. No two days are the same, Eve leads a busy life, she loves traveling (passport required), keeping fit, socialising, and enjoys entertaining. Eve has a complex physical disability and communication relies on hearing aids and lip reading throughout her waking day. In addition, she has dysarthric speech which means her verbalisations are unclear except to those who know her well. This means she uses an electronic communication aid for many interactions. Eve’s physical disability means you will provide academic and administrative support as directed, as well as personal care, whilst on shift.
Overview of role:
You will be joining a dedicated team of 5 Support Workers who enable Eve on a 1-1 basis around the clock (including at least one sleeping night per week), for some activities you will also work with another team member. You must love food and cooking! Eve lives in her own home which you will help to keep running smoothly. There is a rota published and sent out well in advance and flexibility to hours, days you are available gross per hour overnight plus a weekend supplement.
