Class 1 HGV Driver Day/Twilight shift

Mallusk, Northern Ireland, gb

We are seeking a class 1 Driver (HGV 1) in Mallusk for immediate start.

This role will be full time permanent for the right candidate.

Job duties include but may not be limited to,

  • Driving a class 1 vehicle all over Northern Ireland delivering and collecting steel and metal.
  • The driver must ensure the loads are safe and secure using rachet straps.
  • Vehicle checks

    • The successful candidate must have,

  • Full class 1 licence,
  • Valid CPC and Digi card
  • 2 years class 2 driving experience and 25 or over for insurance reasons

    • Working hours,

  • Monday – Friday
  • 0600/0700 starts – finish (usually 8-10 hour days)
  • Overtime after 50 hours @ £18.94 per hour
  • Flexibility required to work day/twilight shift.
    Twilight shifts – 15:00pm – 23:30pm
