For the successful Stores Person our client is offering:

  • Basic salary £24,481.60 per annum
  • Days based role Monday till Thursday 08:00- 16:30 and 07:00 – 15:30 Friday
  • Permanent position with immediate interviews available for suitable candidates

    • The Role - Stores Person:
  • Ensuring that health, safety and quality standards are complied with.
  • Ensuring that safety and security of all stock on site are met.
  • Controlling access to the stores area as necessary.
  • Receipt of internal (finished goods) and external (supplier) deliveries into Stores.
  • Producing all shipping documentation using the relevant systems to ensure goods are transferred to couriers in accordance with current UK export compliance and UK domestic shipping laws and regulations.
  • Maintenance of adequate and appropriate stock levels of all site consumables and packing materials
  • Receive, locate, and issue goods to production area on request.
  • Preparation and planning of goods out utilizing Excel spreadsheets.

    • What our client is looking for in a Stores Person:

  • FLT Counterbalance License - ESSENTIAL
  • 3 – 4 years relevant experience in similar position - ESSENTIAL
  • Full UK Driving License - ESSENTIAL
  • Excellent organization/time management/communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal/external customers.
  • Experienced with stock management systems and databases.
