JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Pay Rate: £30,
  • Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
  • Shift patterns: Rotational shifts, must be able to work weekends, as these will be part of the rotation.
  • Location: Carlisle - CA6 4SJ

    • DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Van Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

    WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
    • Rotational shift, you must be able to work weekends, as these are included in the rotation.
    • Completing 2 person deliveries with a drivers mate. Delivering furniture and large goods. Weights can be between 20kg and 11kg.
    • Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
    • Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
