Relief Pharmacy Home Driver

Lincoln, England, gb

About the role:

Our community pharmacies play a key part in caring for the health and wellbeing of our customers and members. As the largest Co-operative Pharmacy group, our pharmacies offer so much more than just exceptional customer service! From prescriptions and flu vaccines to podiatry and sports therapy, we’re passionate about looking after the health needs of our patients.

An essential link between our pharmacies and patients, our Relief Pharmacy Home Drivers are compassionate and friendly colleagues delivering prescriptions to customers in their own homes. Working closely with our pharmacies and pharmacy warehouse team, your key role will be to ensure that these health care products are delivered to the right patients at the right time with an efficient but secure service. Other duties will include:

  • Completing daily vehicle safety checks, ensuring that they remain clean and safe to carry medicines
  • Planning and organising patient deliveries and prescription collection from doctors’ surgeries in a confidential manner
  • Maintaining our patient delivery database and completing associated administration.
  • About You

Are you a caring and enthusiastic people person who enjoys teamwork and customer interaction? Then we’d love to hear from you! You’ll need to have full driving licence and show us:

  • A careful and safe method of handling potentially fragile deliveries
  • A natural ability to build meaningful relationships with both patients and colleagues to provide exceptional customer care.
  • An organised and methodical approach to your work in any situation
  • Flexibility when faced with change. You’ll be eager to take on new challenges and enjoy problem solving
  • Please note that the successful candidate for this role will be required to complete a DBS check before joining our team.

    Benefits:
