Vanrath are delighted to be partnering with our client a leader in logistics and distribution. Who currently have a requirement for Reach Forklift Drivers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unpack and organize stock accurately as part of a fast-moving team.
  • Complete orders to the highest standard.
  • Unload deliveries and maintain stock accuracy.
  • Prepare wholesale orders for delivery in collaboration with the wholesale team.
  • Accurately pick and scan orders using RF guns.
  • Minimize missed sales and losses through accurate picking.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area, ensuring the general maintenance of the warehouse floor.
  • Adapt and remain flexible in approach to work.
  • Build and pack pick locations to ensure adequate product supply.
  • Communicate stock issues promptly to the Stock Department.
  • Achieve team targets and ensure procedures are followed.
  • Report any concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Recommend measures to improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with company H&S policy.
  • Act as a professional and courteous ambassador for the company at all times.

    • Essential Criteria:

  • Grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English.
  • Hold or have held a Forklift License for Reach Truck within the last 3 years.
  • Experience working within a warehouse environment.
  • Experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Physical and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Demonstrated application of continuous improvement techniques.
  • Results-oriented and able to perform well under pressure.

    • Desirable Criteria:

  • NVQ in Warehouse Management.
  • Experience using voice picking units.
  • Organized and efficient.

    • Circumstances:

  • Willingness to undertake training as required.

    • Working Hours

  • 07:30 - 15:30
