Step into the wonderful world of Wayfair! As an ecommerce global supplier of home furniture and accessories we are on a mission to help everyone love their home. Based out of our UK Distribution Centre, as a Gatehouse Administrator you will act as a first point of contact for all vehicles entering the site and will be responsible for managing site access and maintaining accurate records of all entries and exits.

What You’ll Do
Monitor and control the entry and exit of vehicles, to and from the facility.
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing vehicles, including details such as vehicle registration, driver details, time of entry/exit, and cargo information.
Provide assistance and information to drivers, in a professional and courteous manner.
Direct and manage the flow of traffic within the facility to prevent congestion and ensure the smooth movement of vehicles.
Liaise with warehouse and logistics staff to coordinate vehicle movements, ensuring efficient loading and unloading processes.
What You’ll Need
Proven success operating within an administrative, transport and/ or operational support role. Ideally gained within a similar environment such as transport, distribution, logistics, supply chain.
Strong customer service approach, someone who quickly builds rapport and consistently delivers a positive customer experience.
Effective communication skills (both verbally and written) for liaising with 3rd party suppliers, internal members and visitors.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively, especially during busy periods.
Good IT skills with comfort in Google Suite or similar office software.
Ability to handle ad-hoc issues that may arise outside of core business.
