Trunking Driver Jobs – Scunthorpe

Logical Personnel Solutions are acting as an employment business on behalf of our client based in Scunthorpe. The job role consists of simple trunking driver jobs in Scunthorpe where you will be doing runs to various RDC’s across the UK, distributing pallets of frozen chicken to be supplied to all UK supermarkets. All drivers must be flexible for start times as they can vary depending on destination:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a valid CPC, Digi Card and Driving Licence.
  • Must provide all own PPE (Safety boots, Hi Vis Vest, work wear)
  • All drivers must have minimum 12 months experience.
  • Must have chilled or frozen foods experience

    • JOB ROLE:

  • Trunking deliveries to RDC’s
  • No manual work or offloading
  • Carrying out POD’s
  • Reloads and collections

    • All drivers must be flexible for start times as they can vary depending on destination, we will find you a start time/shift pattern to suit your needs.

    START TIMES:

  • Nights: 23:00-04:00
  • Days: 05:00-11:00
  • Afternoons: 12:00-17:00
  • Normally a 8-12 hour shift, normally one drop, some tramping shifts available if it is your preference.
  • Operations run 7 days a week, weekend shifts available. Planning is done day by day.

    • Ongoing / long term positions available for flexible workers.

    PAY RATES:

  • Basic £12
  • Saturday £14
  • Sunday – £ 17
  • Night out – £25
