7.5T Driver

We are currently seeking a 7.5T driver for our Croydon based client. You will be working with a driver’s mate delivering building materials throughout South London & South East. It is a highly customer focused role, keeping them informed and meeting scheduled delivery times. There is a variable shift pattern which may include evenings and weekends.


Shift pattern: Variable

Contract type: Temporary / ongoing

Rate of pay: £15.50 including holiday pay / £18.60 Overtime, and £31.00 on Sundays (PAYE)

As a 7.5T driver you must have:

  • UK Category C1 licence
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Driver CPC Card
  • No more than 6 points for minor offences
  • There may be some restrictions for insurance purposes (please phone for details).

    • The successful driver can expect:

  • Varied start times
  • Monday – Friday shifts (minimum 8 hours)
  • Overtime after 8 hours and on Saturdays
  • Double time on Sundays
  • Weekly pay every Friday

    • This position would be suitable for 7.5T delivery driver, commutable from Sutton, Coulsdon, Purley, Mitcham, Thornton Heath and Wallington.
