Our client has been in operation for over thirty years and have grown to be one of the UK’s leading specialist producers of their particular line of products.
Your New Role
Whilst working as a maintenance electrician you will responsible for the electrical element of the maintenance on site. A key element of this role is to work as part of a team to ensure that any planned or unplanned electrical work on equipment is carried out.
Your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and update digital maintenance records on aputerised Maintenance Management Systems (Work pal) • Actively work on unplanned breakdowns on Electrical equipment/systems • To work on reducing the number of breakdowns especially withmon faults • To ensure all PPMs for all machines are adhered to in a timely manner • Ensure all equipment is maintained to a safe standard andplies with current legislation • Ensure all relevant and appropriate risk assessments are carried out, implemented, and reviewed in a timely manner and that your team are implementing dynamic risk assessments in line with the H&S policy.
What You'll Need To Succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:
A minimum of one years experience in a similar role • A good understanding of 3 phase, switch gear, panel wiring, PLC’s, fault finding, VSD’s, electrical drawings and installation • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace • Be self-motivated and highly organised • Excellentmunication skills.Preference will be given to applicants with:
PAT Testing Qualification • Counterbalance Forklift licence • A good understanding of statutory fixed wire testing • An understanding ofpressed air systems, steam systems, hydraulics • Prior experience of working in the food industry.
What You'll Get In Return
For working a desirable shift pattern of Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:30 you will earn an hourly rate of £18. An element of on call work may also be required on a rota basis.
