About the Role 

We're seeking a meticulous Weighing Technician to join our growing weighing team. This pivotal role involves accurately weighing and transporting raw materials in preparation for product manufacturing. The ideal candidate will ensure strict adherence to our Quality Control and Health and Safety procedures, contributing significantly to the seamless production of our skincare ranges. 

Key Responsibilities

Weighing Raw Materials:

  • Operate stock management systems such as Netsuite, Waerlinks, and MARCO to weigh ingredients.
  • Perform scale checks and label containers accurately.
  • Handle raw materials and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures to weigh ingredients for the manufacturing team to produce.

    • Quality Control:

  • Follow all relevant to GMP expectations and regulations.
  • Calibrate and maintain weighing scales.
  • Undertake cleaning and sanitising tasks.
  • Manage the identification and status of materials.
  • Re-stock raw materials as needed.
  • Complete all necessary QC documentation and expiry extensions, along with other relevant QA documentation.

    • Health & Safety:

  • Strictly adhere to COSHH regulations.
  • Safely use various equipment, ensuring you are trained in and continue to follow all SWPs.
  • Drive and use a PPT and Order Picker Forklifts safely and efficiently to transport and store ingredients.

    • Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and order of the department at all times.
  • Perform general administrative and routine cleaning tasks as directed by the Manufacturing Manager or Team Leader to meet business demands.
  • Assist in training new team members in the department.

    • What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience in handling chemicals and raw materials is highly desireable.
  • Proficiency in using stock management and labelling systems like Netsuite, Waerlinks, and MARCO is highly advantageous.
  • Strong Microsft Office skills, especially in Excel. 
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing context.
  • Forklift driving certification is highly desirable.

  • Employment Type: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, am to pm (overtime available when required)
