HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver

Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are now offering an exciting and flexible temporary opportunity for an experienced and professional 7.5 Tonne HGV driver in Poole.

As part of this role you will be responsible for completing deliveries in an HGV 7.5 tonne vehicle. Unloading will be completed by yourself and a colleague at each delivery site.

Position: HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver

Days: Monday-Friday

Start time: 07:00 AM

Start date: ASAP

Location: Poole

Pay Rate: £13.22-17.93. Quoted rate is for PAYE advanced holiday pay.

As a HGV 7.5 Tonne driver you MUST have:

  • a valid UK 7.5 tonne driving licence
  • a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
  • a minimum of 6 months of recent commercial HGV experience
  • your own transport to get to and from work
  • no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)

    • As a HGV 7.5 tonne driver you will be responsible for:

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
  • Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
