Job Title: Senior Storeman

Location: West Bromwich - Birmingham

Employment type: Contract

Duration: 6-12 months

Our client is a leading company in the industry and renowned for their involvement with the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, Fire and Telecommunication services on Infrastructure Projects throughout the UK. They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Storeman to join their team.

Project Overview: This project is focused on electrical work, encompassing primary cable management systems (CMS), cable tray installations, lighting installations, and distribution board setups. The project entails extensive cabling work spanning various areas of the plant, including boilers, waste bunkers, and other critical infrastructure components.

Key Skills:

  • Managing the movement of electrical equipment and materials.
  • Stock control.
  • Organizing and maintaining the stores area.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Working collaboratively with the team and other site personnel.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Operating a Telehandler and forklift as required (Telehandler / Forklift certification preferably CPCS)

    • Job Requirements

  • Experience in stores, materials, and stock control.
  • Electrical background.
  • Ideal to hold a valid SCS/CPCS Telehandler certification.
  • Experience working on a construction sites is preferred.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.
