Furniture Technician / Driver

Hours: 45 hours per week based on a Five Day week / Monday – Saturday
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Furniture Assembler to join BoConcept in Barking.BoConcept is a global furniture brand operating in more than 60 different countries. We operate a number of high-end furniture outlets across London and the Home Counties, including a concession in Harrods Department Store.As we pride ourselves on exceptional customer experience, on the job training will be provided for the successful candidate.
The Responsibilities:
Interacting with customers daily and upholding the high standards of the organisation
Loading furniture onto and from the vehicle
Driving the deliveries to the site / customer homes etc.
Installing, assembling and demonstrating the furniture
Organising access to the site i.e. lift/ stairs etc.
Ensuring customer satisfaction
You may be required to work flexible hours, depending on customer demand
You will have the below Skills, Experience and Attributes:
Experience assembling furniture and fitting it OR a basic level of carpentry/DIY skills
Devoted to exceeding customer expectations in areas of customer service, fitting and assembly
Flexible as the role requires some evening work or early starts (after closure to the public) in the Department Store
Possess a passion for delivering customer satisfaction, positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile in order to give our customers a memorable experience
Excellent verbal communication
Ability to safely lift heavy objects
A Full UK driving license – as driving will be an essential part of this role
In return, the Furniture Assembler will have the potential to earn £25,000 within the first 12 months (depending on performance) as well as the potential to earn up to £5,000 in overtime. You will also benefit from extensive training, generous discounts, private healthcare and a pension scheme.
There will be an interview process which will include a practical element to evidence your skills, and references/CRB check will be part of the probationary period process.
