Our client, the global leader in logistics specialising in international shipping, courier services and transportation, is looking for an FLT counterbalance driver / Warehouse Operative to join their established team. Key Responsibilities of the Role Includes:
Receive and dispatch cargo into and out of the warehouse ensuring it is handled correctly
Fork lift truck driving (counterbalance)
Load and unload containers/Vehicles
Identify and label shipments for on-ward shipping
Dangerous goods checking
Sorting shipments to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently
Report any damages or non-compliance to supervisor or manager to be investigated
X-Ray duties (Desired) Full training can be provided
Shift Pattern: Afternoons (Fixed)
37.5 = 14:00 22:30
Pay rate:
£12.98 per hour
Forklift Training = ITSAR/RTITB Category B1 Licence
Aviation Requirements:
Must have a valid 5 year checkable history with a maximum of 28 day gap where a personal reference will need to be used from someone who works in a professional capacity.
