HGV2/ LGV2/ C/ Class 2 Driver

Gi Group are have an opportunity for a Delivery Driver Class 2 (Category C - 18 Tonne) to join the team.

Location: Milton Keynes, MK15
Salary: Temp to Perm - Immediate start
* £15.00 ph
* 22.50 OT after 10 hours
Shifts: Monday to Friday: 05.00am starts.

Key responsibilities include:
* Vehicle checks
* You will be driving Rigid vehicles for this role
* Lift and carry units to sites and customers so you must be able to lift heavy loads safely
* Multi drop deliveries - around 3-4 drops
* Ensure all deliveries are received correctly
* Use scanners to confirm deliveries to customer sites

We're looking for someone with:
* A category C UK Issued driving licence
* A driver DQC - Driver Qualification Card
* Their own tacho smartcard in order to drive commercially
* Experience in multi drop driving
* Good knowledge of the local area
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* The ability to work effectively and independently under pressure.
* Flexible approach to working hours as delivery round times may vary with workload
* A good team player with the ability to work on own initiative
* The ability to plan and prioritise effectively
* No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no BA/CD/CU/DR/DD/IN offences please)
