Warehouse Operative

Adecco have teamed up with a forward thinking and dynamic client who are in the manufacturing industry, they are looked to add to their already successful warehouse and logistic department. As a Warehouse Operative you will play an integral part in the logistical operation covering the UK.


Salary: £25, - £27, DOE


Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm (one evening shift 12.00pm to 8.00pm per week) PLUS one Sunday in 3 however you will get the Friday off that week.

The main day to day responsibilities in the warehouse:



  • Receive, inspect and record incoming deliveries.

  • Carry out warehouse operations in an efficient and timely manner, limiting waste whenever possible.

  • Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment.

  • Store products in designated areas, ensuring proper organisation and labelling.

  • Prepare and complete orders in time for courier collection.

  • Operate warehouse equipment such wrapping machinery, forklifts, pallet stacker and pallet trolleys.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  • Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the Operations Manager.

  • Undertake weekly stock takes.
