Excellent opportunity to join a leading Civils and Industrial Contractor working on a variety of industrial and civils schemes around the area. Schemes with come with steel frames, extensive deep drainage, groundworks, highways, hard landscaping and 278 works.

Values from £1 to £10m.

Duties will include:

  • Delivery of the contract within programme and budget.
  • Control and management of sub contract resources to the highest levels of safety, quality and efficiency.
  • The continuous monitoring of contract progress to ensure contract objectives are being met.
  • Ensuring that, in conjunction with the Project Delivery Team, changes to the contract are identified, agreed and effectively managed.
  • Must have:

  • Valid SMSTS/SSSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • First aid
  • Building, groundworks and civils experience.
  • Highways/ infrastructure experience.(advantageous)
  • Duties

    – Supervise and manage a team of workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
    – Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
    – Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
    – Liaise with project managers to report progress and address any issues that arise during the project.
    – Assist in training new staff members in safe working practices and operational procedures.

    Requirements
    – Proven experience in groundworks or a related field is essential.
    – Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
    – Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to construction sites.
    – Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    – A valid driver’s licence may be required for site travel.
