Pay Rate: £31, pa
Contract Type: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off OR any 5 out of 7 (this can be discussed at interview stage)
Location: Morrisons - Birdgewater - TA6 4AT

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager (FLM) to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Warehouse First Line Manager for Morrisons in Bridgwater
  • To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
  • To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence
  • To track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level

  • Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a warehouse environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
  • Can do attitude!

    • A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well-received.
