Acoustic Consultant

Our client is a well-established acoustic consultancy that specialises in providing expert services for sustainable architectural projects. They handle a diverse range of projects in the education, residential, commercial, and leisure sectors. The consultancy offers a comprehensive range of services including modelling, design, assessments, testing, and the development of ventilation and facade optimisation products.

Requirements:

  • A strong technical background in architectural and environmental acoustics
  • BSc and/or MSc in acoustics or a related discipline with membership to the Institute of Acoustics (IOA)
  • Possession of a valid UK driver’s licence
  • Proficiency in various software packages including ODEON, INSUL, Soundplan, and CaDnaA

    • Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Engage with clients to thoroughly understand project requirements
  • Prepare and finalise detailed technical reports
  • Utilise project management skills to ensure a smooth process throughout the deliverables’ life cycle
  • Work on-site as necessary and provide support to junior/graduate level staff when required
